The Cottage

Sleeping in the heart of the vineyards

A winemaker's house built of tufa stone, nestled in the heart of the estate, fully renovated and able to accommodate up to 12 people . The unique experience of waking up amidst the Saumur-Champigny vineyards. Welcome to Gîte des Nerleux.

This old house in the heart of the estate was renovated by Amélie in 2017 with a simple idea: to make guests feel right at home. It features a fully equipped kitchen , a living room with a fireplace , a large table for shared meals, and a terrace with panoramic views of the vineyards.

The best part: Amélie offers tenants a free visit to a troglodytic cellar with tasting during their stay.

Everything has been designed for successful reunions with family or friends , in summer as well as winter. Comfort and tranquility guaranteed.

The Essentials of Wolves

1 hour 30 minutes to discover the essentials: our history through a visit to the troglodytic cellar carved into the tuffeau, an overview of the vineyard and a guided tasting of some selected vintages.

Paid service available by reservation, in French and English.

DURATION: 1 hour 30 minutes (45 minutes tour + 45 minutes tasting)

On the Trail of the Wolves

A logbook, a marked route, and off you go! Accessible from the youngest age, this treasure hunt takes you on a journey of discovery through the history of the estate and its vineyards in complete autonomy.

We had a twenty-minute walk before meeting up for a tasting at the wine cellar.

Amélie embodies the 9th^e generation of winemakers in her family. She draws inspiration from this family heritage to create her different vintages.
Ever since she was little, she's heard about a grape variety with exceptional flavor. Her grandfather Robert left her clues to find it. Amélie needs your help!

Your mission: trace the origins of this mysterious grape variety in under 45 minutes! Work as a team, communicate, and observe every detail to win!
